Mission & Vision
Together, we are creating a Baltimore where every child, family, and business can flourish.
The Delta Lambda Foundation engages and empowers Baltimore City residents and communities through education, fostering positive transformation, and sustainable change.
We envision a Baltimore City where opportunities are accessed by all, create the seeds to empower a more vibrant future, and create generational wealth, progress, and wellness for generations to come.
Our Programs
The Delta Lambda Foundation is committed to uplifting Baltimore through impactful programs that address the health, economic, and educational needs of our communities. Each of our signature initiatives reflects our mission to create a flourishing city where every child, family, business, and community can thrive.
Delta Lambda Outreach Center Located at 1501 North Dukeland Street in Baltimore’s historic Rosemont neighborhood, the Delta Lambda Outreach Center (DLOC) serves as a vital hub for community empowerment and development. Operated by the Delta Lambda Foundation, the center provides a welcoming space for a variety of programs and services that uplift residents of all ages. The facility houses a Catholic Charities Head Start program, offering early childhood education to prepare young learners for academic success. Additionally, the DLOC supports economic growth through a business incubator that nurtures local entrepreneurs and small businesses. Youth development is a cornerstone of the center's mission, exemplified by the Delta Lambda Chapter’s Beautillion Scholars Program, which mentors high school juniors and seniors, fostering academic excellence and leadership skills. Community engagement is further enhanced by our ongoing relationship with Agape House, which provides community support, food services and wellness programs for the community. Through these multifaceted efforts, the Delta Lambda Outreach Center stands as a beacon of hope and progress in the Rosemont community.
Educational Fairs & Youth Engagement
The Foundation hosts educational fairs that connect students and families with academic programs, scholarships, mentoring opportunities, and career pathways. We also offer workshops on college readiness, STEAM education, and leadership development—ensuring our youth have access to the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.
Community Health Fair
Our annual Health Fair provides vital health screenings, wellness resources, and preventive care education to residents across Baltimore. In partnership with healthcare providers and local organizations, we offer services such as blood pressure and glucose checks, dental and vision screenings, mental health resources, and fitness demonstrations—empowering individuals to take charge of their health.
Small Business Empowerment Events
We believe in the power of economic opportunity and entrepreneurship. Through events like financial literacy workshops, and panel discussions with local business leaders, we support Baltimore's small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. These gatherings are designed to provide resources, networking opportunities, and tools to help build sustainable, community-centered enterprises.
